Micah is a 17-year-old fell runner, and he took on the Bob Graham Round — one of the UK’s toughest endurance challenges. Starting and finishing at the Moot Hall in Keswick, the Round links up 42 Lakeland summits across roughly 27,000 feet of climbing, all to be ticked off inside a single day. No mass start, no crowds at the finish line. Just a runner, a support crew, and the fells. The challenge dates back to 1932, when a Keswick guesthouse owner named Bob Graham knocked off 42 peaks to mark his 42nd birthday — a habit that clearly stuck.
We followed Micah across the route to capture the scale of it: the terrain, the night legs, and the quiet grit it takes for a teenager to chase something this big. The result is a film that’s as much about the landscape as it is about the run.
