Since its launch in 2010, Ethical Power has rapidly expanded its solar solutions footprint, extending from the UK to encompass New Zealand, Greece, Italy, and Spain.

In 2024, Floom Creative partnered with Ethical Power to continue showcasing their leadership in the renewable energy industry through engaging visual storytelling. Building on our previous collaboration, this year’s focus shifted to a more human-centric approach, highlighting recruitment efforts, personal stories, and Ethical Power’s inspiring vision for the future. With an expanded production schedule, we worked closely with their team to create impactful content that reflects their dedication to innovation, sustainability, and the people driving their mission. This partnership has enabled Ethical Power to authentically connect with audiences, amplifying their influence and commitment to building a greener tomorrow.

Spotlight on People

We set out to capture authentic voices from across the company. From senior leadership to recent graduates, we heard stories about career development, shared purpose, and the collaborative spirit that drives Ethical Power forward.

Culture in Action

The narrative needed to go beyond corporate statements, showing genuine moments of teamwork, problem-solving, and shared celebration. This meant embedding ourselves in the working environment – offices, site visits, and even community engagement activities.

Approach

Collaborative Storyboarding

We worked closely with Ethical Power’s HR and marketing teams to identify key cultural themes: professional growth, innovation, inclusivity, and purpose. These became the foundation for the storyboard and interview structure.

Immersive Filming

Filming spanned multiple locations, from the Bristol head office to operational solar farms. We captured candid interactions, coffee break brainstorms, engineers problem-solving on site, and cross-departmental project updates , to show the culture in its natural setting.

Authentic Storytelling

Rather than relying on scripted lines, we encouraged interviewees to speak in their own words. The result was a series of heartfelt and engaging testimonials that prospective recruits could relate to.
