Floom Creative has supported The Hunchman Trust from the very beginning.

From early event films to documentary storytelling, we have worked alongside the trustees to capture the emotion, resilience, and community at the heart of the charity.

Our work has included content for:

• The Hunchman 500
• Run Hunchman Run
• Charlie Smith’s 4 Marathons in 24 Hours challenge

Through these campaigns, the trust has already delivered 7 events and raised over £300K in support of people grieving loss, with a specialised focus on those affected by suicide.

As momentum grew, it became clear the charity needed more than just a website.

They needed an immersive digital home that matched the energy, emotion, and scale of their impact.


Our Approach

Documentary Led Foundation

Because we had supported The Hunchman Trust from the beginning through films and event documentaries, we already understood the emotional heartbeat of the charity. We approached the website as a continuation of that story. The structure was built around a journey. From the origin of Hunch, to the growth of community events, to the impact being made today. Every section was intentionally designed to move visitors from understanding to emotion to action.

Immersive Visual Integration

Rather than treating video as an add on, we embedded documentary content strategically throughout the site. Cinematic stills from The Hunchman 500, Run Hunchman Run, and Charlie Smith’s 4 Marathons in 24 Hours challenge were integrated to create depth and authenticity. Real faces. Real effort. Real impact. This created an immersive experience that felt alive rather than static.

Impact Led Structure

We structured the site to highlight tangible momentum. Clear statistics including 7 events delivered and £300K+ raised were positioned prominently to reinforce credibility. User journeys were simplified around three key actions: Support. Partner. Get involved. Every page had a defined purpose and conversion pathway.
