As The NICI prepared to launch two new coastal locations in Newquay and Lymington, Floom Creative was commissioned to produce two cinematic teaser films designed specifically for YouTube and social platforms.

These were not full hotel walkthroughs.
They were mood driven launch trailers.

The objective was to build intrigue, create anticipation and position each location within its natural environment before doors officially opened.

Luxury today is about feeling.
Our job was to bottle that feeling in under 45 seconds.


The Brief

Immersive Teaser Storytelling

Create short form launch films that felt cinematic and premium, while remaining optimised for social engagement and YouTube viewing.

Showcasing Two Distinct Locations

Newquay and Lymington each have unique identities. The films needed to reflect their contrasting atmospheres while remaining cohesive under The NICI brand.

Hook Driven Content

The first three seconds mattered most. Each teaser had to stop the scroll and spark curiosity without revealing everything.

Approach

Newquay. Energy and Edge.

Newquay is movement. Salt air. Surf culture. We anchored the teaser around a surfer carrying a board at sunrise, blending lifestyle cinematography with sweeping drone footage of the Cornish coastline. The hotel appears in glimpses. Reflections. Architectural details. Atmosphere. Fast paced edits and natural light sequences positioned The NICI Newquay as bold, confident coastal luxury.

Lymington. Calm and Refined.

Lymington required a different rhythm. We centred the teaser around a boat journey through Lymington Harbour at golden hour. Gentle movement. Soft reflections on the water. A slower cinematic build. The edit focused on texture and mood rather than explanation. Refined. Relaxed. Quietly powerful.

Platform First Production

Both films were crafted with distribution in mind: Horizontal masters for YouTube, vertical cut downs for Instagram and paid social, fast hook openings and strong brand reveals at the close Every frame was designed to build anticipation ahead of opening.

Conclusion

With Floom Creative leading production, The NICI launched two distinct teaser campaigns that captured the spirit of their new coastal destinations.

Newquay felt energetic and surf driven.
Lymington felt elegant and maritime.

Together, the films strengthened The NICI’s expansion into two premium markets while generating intrigue across social and digital platforms.

Rather than showing everything, we showed just enough.
