The NICI is a premium coastal hotel brand expanding into two new locations in Newquay and Lymington. With both destinations set to launch, the objective was clear: build anticipation before doors officially opened and position each hotel within its natural setting.
The Challenge
The NICI did not need traditional walkthrough videos. They needed intrigue.
Two distinct coastal destinations required two distinct launch stories, while maintaining one cohesive luxury brand identity. The content had to feel cinematic and premium, yet work hard across YouTube and social platforms where attention spans are short and first impressions matter.
Our Strategy
We developed a launch-first content approach built around atmosphere, anticipation and platform performance.
Cinematic Teaser Storytelling
Rather than showing every room and feature, we created mood-driven launch trailers designed to capture feeling over function. Each film was under 45 seconds, built to hook fast and leave viewers wanting more.
Location Led Narrative
Newquay was positioned around energy, surf culture and coastal movement. Sunrise lifestyle cinematography and sweeping drone footage created a bold, confident tone.
Lymington took a different rhythm. Golden hour harbour scenes, slower pacing and refined textures reflected its calm, maritime elegance.
Platform First Production
Every asset was designed with distribution in mind. Horizontal masters for YouTube. Vertical cut downs for Instagram and paid social. Strong opening hooks and clear brand reveals ensured performance as well as polish.

South Lawn Hotel is a proudly independent, family-run hotel in the heart of the New Forest. Recently named the #1 Dog-Friendly Hotel in the UK, their charm lies not in flashy interiors, but in heartfelt hospitality, scenic surroundings, and a strong sense of character.
The Challenge
South Lawn wanted to refresh their visual identity and better showcase what makes them unique: warm hospitality, a proudly dog-friendly attitude, and the lived-in charm of a countryside escape. The goal was to attract new guests by highlighting not just the amenities, but the feeling of a stay.
Our Strategy
We built a content-first approach that combined:
Story-Led Filming: Before shooting, we worked with the South Lawn team to define what makes a stay memorable — the laughter, the glances, the muddy dog walks. These human (and canine) moments became the creative blueprint.
Immersive, Unstaged Video: Using handheld cameras, GoPros, and even low-angle dog cams, we captured authentic moments as they unfolded — golden hour drinks, forest walks, cosy dinners. The result was cinematic, but never staged.
Platform-Ready Content
From website hero films to short social reels, we crafted edits with charm and rhythm, supported by natural sound and subtle music. Every piece was designed to resonate online and inspire bookings.
